Geelong has been overrun in the second half by a devastating Richmond VFL unit to record their second loss of the season.

Richmond kicked 12.4 to the Cats 1.1 in the third quarter to set up a 18.7 115 to 8.16 64 victory at Punt Road.

For the Cats, youngster Jordan Schroder was best afield finishing with 26 touches, 10 clearances and seven tackles.

Mitch Brown and VFL listed player Tom Maas were the Cats leading goal kickers with two each.
