Cats v North Melbourne at Simonds Stadium at 3:20pm this Sunday – ANZAC Tribute Match.

ANZAC Tributes – Pre-Match: In honour of the ANZAC centenary, there will be a variety of tributes around Simonds Stadium including the local RSL selling ANZAC Pins with help from the Belmont Fire Brigade, the Geelong Memorial Brass Band, flag bearers from the Army, Navy and Air Force Cadets on the ground pre-match along with Geelong RSL Senior Vice President Rodney Meeke OAM JP tossing the coin.
We are also very excited to have some past players who served overseas or nationally for our country but also played for the Mighty Cats and North Melbourne take part in our pre-match activities to highlight the strong link between football and our brave ANZAC’s.
Remembrance Garden Opening – At half time, a service will be held at the new Remembrance Garden (located behind the Players Stand) and everyone is welcome to attend.
The Bell: Former 200-game Geelong player and National Serviceman Russ Renfrey will ring the Bell this week, whilst his grandson, Luke, will join the Cats as the junior mascot.

The Precinct: Music in the Park brought to us by Music Workshop featuring local Geelong artist, Olly Friend. Located outside Simonds Stadium behind the Players Stand.
Fan Zone for the kids: Located outside the Players Stand (between Doug Wade and Bernie Smith Gate)

Ticket information: Geelong Cats members who do not have an allocated season reserved seat at Simonds Stadium will be unable to scan into the ground using their membership card. They will need to upgrade their entry to a reserved seat or standing ticket through Ticketmaster, using the 12-digit barcode number. Don’t forget to scan in with the Ticketmaster issued ticket on game day!
Upgrade early and avoid the queue: Upgrade to a reserved ticket online or via your smart phone prior to the game, starting at $4. Reserving your seat online won’t cost you anymore than lining up on the day but it will save you time!

Parking: Limited and paid parking is available around the precinct of Simonds Stadium, along with off-street parking, however, please observe signs to avoid fines. Also please note free parking for Ford vehicles is no longer available, however, all proceeds go towards AFL Barwon's local football programs.
