GEELONG has made just one change for Saturday night's big clash with Essendon at Etihad Stadium.

Mitch Clark is out with a calf injury and has been replaced by Josh Walker.

Cats coach Chris Scott said earlier in the week that Michael Luxford and Jake Kolodjashnij were in the running to make their AFL debuts, but both have been named as emergencies.

Ruckman Rhys Stanley has been named in the team despite copping a corked thigh in the 56-point loss to West Coast last weekend.
