Young Cat Cameron Guthrie has received a round 20 Coates Hire Goal of the Year nomination for a right-foot snap from the pocket during the Cats' loss to Hawthorn on Saturday night.
Guthrie's goal came at a crucial time for the Cats, as they clawed their way back in the second quarter after a poor first-term performance, and saw the margin close to 14 points.
The explosive Cat tackled Hawthorn's Josh Gibson in the Cats forward 50 before intercepting the handball to Jordan Lewis and whacking it straight onto his boot.
The boundary line snap was, appropirately, in 'Stevie J style' given it was Johnson's 250th game in the hoops.
Guthrie kicked three goals for the match and tallied 30 disposals, 6 marks and 4 clearances finishing in the Cats' best.
Guthrie recently re-signed with the Cats for a further three years.
