Geelong has selected Tom Atkins at pick 11 in the 2018 NAB Rookie Draft.
Atkins is a tough midfielder who is renowned for ability to extract the ball in congestion and his fierce attack on the football.
The 23-year-old gets his opportunity on an AFL list after starring for the Bendigo Bank Cats in the VFL in 2018.
A dual VFL Best and Fairest winner, Atkins is also a terrific leader having captained the side in 2018.
