Renee Garing will be eyeing a return to senior football in 2023 after a big lead-in to the new campaign. Garing selection mix midway through last season after returning from having her first child, but was unable to force her way into a fit and firing Geelong team, although she was named in the emergencies on several occasions. With another strong pre-season behind her and incredible form in her seven VFLW appearances this year, the hard-tackling midfielder will be eager to return to the top level.
