Amy McDonald led the Cats' contingent at the W Awards in the AFLW's Best and Fairest vote count on Tuesday night.

The Cats' reigning best and fairest polled the most votes of any Cats with 8, including best-on-ground performances against West Coast Eagles in Round 5 and Richmond in Round 8.

McDonald also polled two votes in the Cats' Round 10 clash against Greater Western Sydney Giants.

Fellow midfielders Becky Webster (2 votes), Nina Morrison (2 votes) and Georgie Prespakis (1 vote) were the other Cats to feature in the count.

Webster received one vote in both the Round 5 and Round 8 clashes, while Morrison featured with one vote in both Round 6 against Gold Coast and Round 9 against St Kilda.

First-year Cat Georgie Prespakis also caught the judges' eye, polling one vote in her debut clash against North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos in Round 1 - the game she also earned a NAB Rising Star nomination for.

Prespakis finished fourth in the Rising Star count with 20 votes, with Carlton's Mimi Hill taking out the award with 43.

The Cats did not have any representatives in the final All-Australian Team, but had two players in the initial squad in McDonald and defender Maddy McMahon.
