The AFL has confirmed the fixture for the final round of the AFL season today, with the Cats set to face the West Coast Eagles on Saturday, August 20 at 4.35pm at GMHBA Stadium.
It’s the final game in a three out of four game home stand for the Cats whose only trip outside of Geelong in the last month of the home and away season is a date with the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium in Round 22.
Top eight contenders the Western Bulldogs and St. Kilda come to town this week and next, before the season rounds out with the return date with the Eagles in Round 23, which will be broadcast on Fox Footy.
The Cats are currently in top spot on the AFL ladder having won nine straight games after Saturday’s thrilling 12 point win over the Power in Adelaide.
