FIVE THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
1. THE RETURN OF SHANE KERSTEN
Having recorded their worst aggregate score in their first four games of a season since 1972, the Cats desperately need to kick some more goals against the Tigers. That task has been made tougher by the absence of Mitch Clark, who has been given the weekend off to recover from a minor foot problem. But Clark's absence has opened the door for Shane Kersten to return to the team for his first AFL match since round 22 last year. What a chance for the young forward to put his hand up and prove that he can cut it at the highest level.

2. STEVE JOHNSON TO RETURN TO HIS BEST
Johnson started last weekend's clash against North Melbourne in the green vest, but he took the demotion in his stride. As fellow three-time premiership player Jimmy Bartel told MMM's Rush Hour, "He worked out the averages. He played a quarter, had nine [disposals] and kicked two [goals]. So he was track for eight and 40. That's the way he thought about it."
3. ANOTHER DAY OUT AGAINST THE TIGES
Geelong's recent record against Richmond is nothing short of spectacular. The Cats haven't lost to the Tigers since 2006. In fact, they've barely lost a game to them since Gary Ablett's kicked 14 goals against Kevin Bartlett's hapless Richmond side in 1989. Last time Geelong was under the pump prior to taking on the Tigers was back in 2007. The Cats responded by dishing out a 157-point hiding, which was relived in this week's edition of Thirsty Camel Throwback Thursdays.
4. A QUIRKY RESULT
Just 84 games in VFL/AFL history have been won by teams that were outscored in each of the first three quarters but then won the final term by enough to get over the line. The greatest winning margin in such circumstances is 50 points. This took place in round 10, 1985, when Geelong kicked 11.5 (71) to 1.2 (8) in the last quarter to defeat Richmond 18.12 (120) to 10.10 (70).
