Amy McDonald and Georgie Prespakis have again caught the eye of the coaches after brilliant performances in Geelong's 26-point win over Fremantle.
After topping the Round 1 voting with eight votes apiece, the pair couldn't be split once again, both receiving nine votes from the coaches.
McDonald notched up a career-high 29 disposals, five clearances, five tackles, six intercepts and four score involvements.
Fellow midfielder Prespakis has made a fine start to her second season and was again in the thick of the action against the Dockers.
The 19-year-old collected an impactful 20 disposals and nine clearances, and laid five tackles.
Both McDonald and Prespakis were also named in the AFLW Team of the Week.
The pair are now equal-second on the AFL Coaches' Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year tally with 17 votes, alongside Western Bulldogs skipper Ellie Blackburn and Prespakis' sister Maddy, who plays for Essendon. North Melbourne's Jasmine Garner leads the way after polling a maximum 20 votes across the first fortnight.
Each match during the home and away season, AFLW senior coaches award votes on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis to the players they deem to have performed best in the game.
It was a Geelong domination in the votes on Saturday, with Becky Webster (6 votes), Nina Morrison (3) and Julia Crockett-Grills (1) also featuring.
Kiara Bowers was the only Fremantle player to register any votes, receiving two.
