Nina Morrison's brilliant efforts have been rewarded, with the midfielder recognised as the Round 6 Geelong AFLW Fans MVP, presented by Geelong Dairy.
Morrison was a force to be reckoned with against the Bulldogs, with 21 disposals, 10 tackles and eight clearances.
As she has all season, Morrison led the way with her relentless efforts and unyielding pressure around the contest, setting the Cats up with ball in hand, and working tirelessly to win it back when the Western Bulldogs were in possession.
Morrison was a clear winner in the eyes of Cats fans, drawing 57 per cent of the vote ahead of Amy McDonald (13 per cent) and Chloe Scheer (9 per cent).
After every home and away round this season, Cats fans will be able to vote in the Geelong Cats AFLW Fan MVP Award, presented by Geelong Dairy.
The overall winner of the award will be presented at the Cats' Season 7 Best and Fairest Event. Eligible entrants who vote throughout the season will go into a draw to win a 2022 AFLW Team-Signed Football. Terms & Conditions apply.
