Geelong has made five changes to its line-up ahead of Saturday's VFL clash with Richmond at the Swinburne Centre.

Oisin Mullin returns to the side after missing last week through soreness, while co-vice-captain Tom Feely returns to the line-up as a welcome boost of experience.

Billy Crofts and Jack Evans will play their first VFL games for the season, while Tanner Lewis also returns to the line-up.

Brandan Parfitt has been called up to the AFL side, while injured trio Angus Byrne, Daniel Capiron and Ben Worme are also among the outs, along with Tom Panuccio.

Byrne suffered a significant ankle ligament injury against Southport last week, and is expected to be out for the medium-term. X-rays have cleared the Cats' VFL captain of any bone damage.

Co-vice-captain Capiron suffered a concussion, but is progressing well in his recovery, and is expected to be available for selection following the Cats' bye next weekend.

Worme sustained ligament damage to an elbow, which could keep him out for the short-to-medium term.

The Cats and Tigers both have a 3-3 record after the opening seven rounds of the season, with both sides striving to bounce back with a win to keep in touch with the top half of the ladder.
