As part of reaching the milestone, the Club has seen a remarkable influx of new members, with over 17,000 fans joining as members for the first time in 2023, an increase from 12,000 in 2022.
The reach of the Cats membership base stretches far and wide in 2023, with 65% of members residing outside of Geelong, including 22% of this figure in Melbourne where the support for the Cats continues to grow.
In addition to the incredible overall membership figure, the Club is thrilled to share that over 5,500 fans have already joined as AFLW members for the upcoming season, with the number set to increase as we eagerly await the start of the 2023 NAB AFLW Season.
The continued growth of the Geelong Football Club membership base is also an encouraging steppingstone to the Club’s target of reaching 100,000 members by 2025.
