Geelong is set for a blockbuster Saturday night showdown with the Western Bulldogs under lights at GMHBA Stadium to close out the 2023 home and away season, it's been announced today.
The AFL has released the fixture for Round 24 with the Cats and the Dogs facing off in the coveted 7.25pm Saturday night timeslot in what is expected to be a blockbuster, finals shaping round.
The Cats currently sit in 9th spot on the ladder after the weekend’s thrilling 7-point win over Port Adelaide but with the League’s 4th best percentage, while the Bulldogs are in sixth spot, and their hold on a finals berth, anything but certain.
It sets up a mouth-watering clash between the two sides at a ground that the visiting Bulldogs have not won at since 2003.
Geelong will also celebrate Members Round in Round 24, where the Cats will show their appreciation for the ongoing commitment and support from members across the 2023 season.
Round 24 ticket on sale details are to be confirmed but will be communicated when possible.
