Geelong is today mourning the passing of Life Member Peter Rodgers.

Rodgers served as the club’s Match Day Statistician for 24 seasons from 1976 until the end of the 1999 season.

Rodgers' first game was in Round One, 1976 at the Lake Oval against South Melbourne in the role of master caller, where his ability to accurately identify all Geelong and opposition players was notable.

In 1997 he was inducted as a Club Life Member.
