Geelong will host a Kids Festival prior to next Saturday’s game, as part of the AFL’s Kids Go Free Month initiative.

Children aged 14 and under will have free entry to matches in rounds 16-19 of the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, lining up with school holidays nationwide.

As part of the initiative, Geelong will host a Kids Festival next Saturday at Geelong Cricket Oval between 2pm – 5pm, before the Cats do battle with the Hawks at GMHBA Stadium.

The Festival will include a meet and greet with Gabby’s Dollhouse and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, an AFL playground and plenty of other exciting activities listed below.

2024 marks the third year of the Kids Go Free Month initiative, which saw over 215,000 junior fans attend the footy during the campaign last year, a 27.5% uplift in junior attendance through the campaign period compared to the season average.

Kids free tickets are available for General Admission and can be obtained through Ticketmaster, for rounds 17 and 19 at GMHBA Stadium.

Tickets for the Cats clash with Hawthorn are on sale now and can be found here.

Don’t forget to bring your footy along, with Macca’s Kick 2 Kick to take place after the game concludes, giving fans a chance to have a kick on GMHBA Stadium.
