Tom Stewart has been recognised for his dominant performance on Saturday, receiving the perfect 10 coaches votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award.  

The star Cat spent valuable time both through the middle and across half back, collecting 32 disposals and a game high 13 intercept possessions to steer Geelong to victory.  

Round 20 marked the fifth straight game that Stewart has received coaches votes, rounding into sensational form at the right time of year.

Ollie Dempsey was awarded three votes for another standout performance, picking up 18 disposals and booting three goals.  

Tyson Stengle also received three votes, kicking three incredible goals to continue adding to his growing highlight package in 2024.  

The small forward laid five tackles to apply plenty of heat to the Kangaroos defence, while also notching five score involvements.

Sam De Koning received one vote for his 11 disposal performance down back, while also picking off six intercept possessions.  

Max Holmes continues to lead the Cats with 52 votes for the season, remaining in the top 20 in the competition with four games remaining.
