The AFL has locked in dates and times for Round 24, with Geelong to host West Coast in its final game of the home and away season.

The AFL has locked in dates and starting times for the Round 24 fixture, with the Cats to face the Eagles at 1.45pm on Saturday 24th August.

In what will be the first meeting between the two teams for 2024, the game kickstarts Super Saturday with five games slated for the day across the league. Currently as the ladder stands, all games will have implications on final ladder positions, with 10 teams currently vying for the top 8 with only three rounds to go!

Tickets for Round 24 will go on sale on Thursday 15 August via Ticketmaster from 10am. Further ticket information will be shared with members next week.

The match will be broadcast on Fox Footy and streamed via Kayo.

New for 2024, in collaboration with the Victorian Government, Round 24 will also see Kids Go Free in Victoria with children aged 14 years and under able to access free general admission entry* to the matches around the state, with surprise and delights offered at selected games.

“One of the most competitive seasons in our games history is coming to a thrilling end, with the Round 24 fixture delivering an appropriate crescendo to our home and away season,” AFL CEO Andrew Dillon said.

“Access and affordability are key pillars of our AFL operations, and I want to thank the Victorian Government and Minister Dimopoulous for helping us deliver on that promise for families wanting to attend the last of the Victorian home and away matches in 2024.”
