Reviewing the Important Win Against Fremantle

(Timestamp: 2:28 – 13:51)

Meg McDonald: "I marvel at the teams consistency, I feel like every week we as Cats fans can be proud of that come to play attitude.

“There is a consistency that is a source of great pride to us, then we go to Perth and think they have really set themselves for this game.

“We turned it up early, they clearly knew that we needed to start really well.

“Then we levelled up again in the fourth quarter, it was a really pleasing win and the ramifications are huge.”

Cameron Ling: "I love the stories and journeys of different players.

“You have Paddy Dangerfield, who was an exciting youngster and a first round draft pick, had a great career at Adelaide and has been a superstar at the Cats.

“It is an incredible football journey, but then you have got Shaun Mannagh who is a completely different football story.

“Having to stick at it for a while, continuing to persist and he was able to have a huge impact on Saturday.

“His last month or so since he has come back into the team has been brilliant.

“He has been so important to how the team now works and gels together, I just continue to love his story and what Shaun is doing."

Patrick Dangerfield Joins the Podcast

(Timestamp: 14:20 – 27:36)

Patrick Dangerfield: "The game is about moments, and I miss plenty of them in terms of not getting certain parts right.

“But I think good leaders and good players look for the next opportunity.

“As disappointing as it is when you run into an open goal and miss, or you kick a ball out on the full, the game doesn't wait for anyone to get over it.

“You have to look for the next opportunity to impact the play, to impact our team.

“That has always been my mantra as a player, you can't spend too much time in disappointment because the game waits for no one."

Looking Ahead to Another Crucial Clash on Saturday Night

(Timestamp: 27:59 – 39:39)

Meg McDonald: "It is our first game at Marvel Stadium since this time last year, that has a whole different context.

“Paddy mentioned in our chat that the tempo of the game can be so vastly different at that venue, it is played with so much speed.

“Round one seems like a very long time ago, the last time we faced the Saints."

Cameron Ling: I think they are being allowed to open up a little bit.

“When the game is getting to the way that Ross wants it to look, he is encouraging a few of his players like Wanganeen-Milera and Sinclair to run, to use it and to be braver with their ball use.

“There is a bit more of a scoring element to them, I don't know if they pre-plan that but I don't think they mind scoring a little heavier."
