Two Cats have been recognised for their strong performances against Brisbane, with Ollie Henry and Gryan Miers both receiving coaches votes in Saturday's Preliminary Final.
Ollie Henry received four votes against Brisbane in just the second Finals match of his AFL career, booting a game high four goals and recording 10 score involvements.
Henry also collected 15 disposals and six inside 50 entries, putting together an impressive display to lead the Cats down forward.
Gryan Miers was awarded three votes from the coaches for his performance on Saturday, after collecting 20 disposals and booting two goals against the Lions.
The crafty small forward produced some incredible highlights throughout the game, while also gathering 10 contested possessions and laying two tackles inside 50.
Max Holmes finished with 10 votes to lead the Cats in the 2024 Finals series.
The AFL Coaches Association Gary Ayres Award is presented in recognition of the player who has been adjudged as the best player throughout the AFL Finals series, as voted by the coaches on a weekly basis throughout the duration of the AFL Finals Series.
Votes are issued after every game of the AFL Finals series by the competing coaches, with each coach providing their 5-4-3-2-1 for the match.
