What to Watch for at Geelong
The Cats are continuing to try and strike a deal with the Western Bulldogs to secure Bailey Smith.
An exchange between the two teams will be one of the hottest topics on deadline day, after the 23 year old midfielder requested a trade to GMHBA Stadium earlier this month.
Geelong’s Deadline Deals last year
The Cats one and only exchange in the 2023 Continental Tires Trade Period came on the final day of action, when a deal was struck with Port Adelaide which sent Esava Ratugolea to the Power.
In return Geelong secured draft picks 25, 76 and 94 in the 2023 National Draft, with those pick ultimately used to select Lawson Humphries and Mitch Edwards.
In recent years, some of Geelong's more memorable trades have come on deadline day, including Jeremy Cameron in 2020 and Ollie Henry in 2022.
