Emonson on the Focus for the Cats

At the moment we are just taking things one week at a time.

We are really focused on West Coast tomorrow and looking forward to that, then the rest will play into our hands.

We can't look too much further forward than tomorrow's game, if we start looking forward then we will lose our focus on tomorrow.

For us as a team, the only thing we are looking at is tomorrow afternoon in Perth and we are looking forward to that.

Emonson on Last Week's Big Win

It was a great feeling post game as well.

Obviously we haven't had as many of those performances this year as we would have liked, but it was a great feeling and the vibes were certainly up.

It certainly helped that across all three lines across the board were really connected and playing well.

Hopefully we can look forward and bring that again tomorrow, but we can't take the Eagles for granted.

Emonson on the Defensive Performance

Across the six of us that rolled through there, everyone played their role. It was us back at our best and it was a four quarter effort.

Throughout the season we have had quarters where we are really on, but we haven't been able to nail that for a full game.

It was nice to get that reward and they had some key forwards who had been performing well, so as a collective I thought we did really well to negate their influence.

Emonson on the Inclusions for Week 9

To have Amy back, it is a great inclusion for our midfield and Rachel back in our defensive unit as well.

They are both quality players, we know what they will bring each week.

We expect them to come out and play their role, but just for them to be back out there is a positive inclusion for us as well.
