The 2024 AFLW best and fairest night is just around the corner, with Geelong ready to crown a new champion on Saturday.

The award recognises the top Cats over the course of the home and away season, and has been awarded annually since the club's inaugural season in the competition in 2019.

Geelong captain Meg McDonald was the very first winner of the award, with Amy McDonald the most successful after taking out three consecutive best and fairest titles.

See below a more detailed history of Geelong's best and fairest award ahead of Saturday night's vote count.
