Geelong head back to the MCG for the final leg of their triple-header at the venue, taking on Collingwood in a Saturday night blockbuster.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Geelong: Jack Bowes

Bowes has quietly been putting together a strong patch of football in 2025, showing the ability to effectively play a number of different roles as the team requires.

Against Carlton in Round 7 the 27 year old finished with 17 disposals, five clearances and five tackles, while also generating 324 metres gained.

In the last meeting with Collingwood, Bowes was instrumental accumulating 24 disposals and seven clearances, poised to be important once again on Saturday night.

Collingwood: Scott Pendlebury

While it is easy to focus on Nick Daicos when analysing Collingwood's midfield, Scott Pendlebury is another that continues to impress in his 20th season of AFL football.

Last week in the traditional Anzac Day clash, Pendlebury collected 31 disposals and nine score involvements to help propel the Magpies to their sixth consecutive victory.

In 28 appearances against Geelong, the veteran averages over 24 disposals and nearly a goal per game, the Cats will need to keep a close eye on him in Round 8.
