Geelong Cats has selected its initial 26-player squad for Sunday's clash with the GWS Giants at GMHBA Stadium.
Gryan Miers and Jed Bews headline the inclusions in the squad, alongside Ted Clohesy, George Stevens and Jay Polkinghorne, who have been added to an extended interchange.
At this stage there are only two confirmed changes, with Rhys Stanley (hamstring) and Lawson Humphries (concussion protocol) both set to miss this weekend's match.
The Cats will confirm their final team for the Round 9 clash at 5.00pm on Friday afternoon, with five players from the extended bench to be named on the interchange and the remaining three set to be emergencies.
Geelong returns home to GMHBA Stadium for the first time since Round 4, as the Cats prepare to take on the GWS Giants from 3.20pm on Sunday afternoon.
