Star Cats' forward Tom Hawkins has received a round 17 Goal of the Year nomination for his sensational snap against the Crows on Thursday night.

After dropping a mark Hawkins recovered brilliantly dancing around three Adelaide players before slotting a snap on his non-preferred foot from 40 out.

Hawkins has been in terrific form of late, kicking seven bags of three and two bags of four goals this season to sit seventh in the Coleman medal.
