Missed the win over Melbourne on Saturday after fracturing his thumb the previous week against North Melbourne. Underwent surgery to fix the problem and could be back as soon as the Easter Monday clash with the Hawks.
Darcy Lang
Was unlucky to be omitted from the AFL side after the win over the Roos. Didn't play at any level on the weekend due to the VFL Cats' having a break before the start of the VFL home and away season. Will push his case on the training track this week.
Rhys Stanley
Was omitted from the AFL team after having a quiet game against North Melbourne. Will be doing his best on the training track to win a spot in the side to Hawthorn.
Jed Bews
Hasn't played for a fortnight due to being the carryover emergency for the North Melbourne game and due to the VFL team having last weekend off. Is certainly fresh if the coaches want to let him loose against the Hawks.
Josh Cowan
Was 'managed' on the weekend but is likely to be available to play against Hawthorn.
