Swallowing the Skipper
Harry Taylor’s stats conclude that the Roo to watch out for during Sunday’s match is, skipper Andrew Swallow
Cats defender, Harry Taylor, believes the most attractive man in the AFL is the player to watch out for during Sunday's match against the Roos.
According to Taylor the number 9 skipper for North Melbourne, Andrew Swallow, has the strength, skills and tactics to push his boys home.
Taylor’s stats confirm that Swallow is one of the leading midfielders in the competition.
“He’s a terrific stoppage player, averaged 6.6 stoppages per game last season which puts him in the elite category for midfielders,” Taylor said.
Last year he was ranked number one in contested ball, total disposals, clearances, center clearances and tackles.
“He’s also a great tackler, averaged 7.1 tackles per game which ranks him number one at North Melbourne and also number one in the AFL for tackles per game last season,” Taylor explained.
The only way Taylor believes Geelong can negate such an elite contester, is to give him some body to limit his impact on the ball, which is where he commits the most damage.
