The VFL Cats have regained AFL-listed players Josh Cowan, Cory Gregson and Darcy Lang for Sunday's clash with the Box Hill Hawks at Simonds Stadium.
Cowan is back after recovering from a knee injury, Gregson returns after being an emergency for the AFL team last weekend, while Lang has been omitted from the AFL side.
Timm House, from the Newtown & Chilwell Football Club, has been selected as the Cats' 23rd player. (The 23rd player rule is designed to enable clubs to promote young talent and provide them with a taste of VFL football to aid their development.)
In all, 13 AFL-listed players have been included in the VFL Cats' line-up.
The Hawks also have a large contingent of AFL-listed players in their squad, including Brendan Whitecross, Dallas Willsmore, Jonathon O’Rourke, and Teia Miles.
The clash presents a big challenge for the Cats, who sit 11th on the ladder with three wins, five losses and a percentage of 113.38.
The Hawks sit fifth on the ladder with five wins and three losses.
