Scott not afraid to shuffle things around
Chris Scott believes the Cats carry the versatility to strengthen its forward line against the Roos
The Cats’ forward line will need to fire if they are a chance to defeat North Melbourne on Friday night.
In this week’s Tweet the Coach, Chris Scott predicts a different look amongst his side’s talls for the vital semi-final at the MCG.
A lack of unpredictability moving forward led to missed opportunities last week against the Hawks, an area Scott is looking to combat.
“We think we’ve got some pretty good variety in our attack.
“We got it in 52 times (inside 50 last week) and just didn’t score enough from our opportunities and that was more a reflection of the quality of those entries.
“We also probably just missed a few chances that we would normally expect to take, a few dropped marks inside 50.
“When you have five or six of those that makes a massive difference to your efficiency inside 50, it makes it a lot harder to obviously keep the ball in there as well.
Scott said his side’s inability to really stop the ball coming out of their forward 50 was a big problem last week against the Hawks.
“We have been pretty good at that all year and we will focus on it this week and make sure we get it right.
