VETERAN defender Jared Rivers should be fit to play in Saturday’s game against the Western Bulldogs at Simonds Stadium after making a good recovery from the knee injury he suffered in the loss to North Melbourne last weekend.
“Jared copped a knock to his right knee,” Cats physio Mark Young said on nib Medical Room.
“A player, in a twisting tackle, landed on his knee and his strained the back of the knee.
“Although early reports are that it looks good, he’ll be a ‘test’ for later this week.”
Other players discussed on this week’s episode of nib Medical Room are:
* James Kelly (ankle)
* Mitch Duncan (foot)
