We take a look at which Cats are in the selection mix for our round 20 clash against Richmond at the MCG on Friday night.

Jackson Thurlow
With Tom Stewart likely to miss the remaining four weeks of the season, it opens the door for Thurlow to come in and reclaim his spot in the side. A similar type to Stewart, Thurlow can play tall or small and provide that dashing flair out of the back half.

Wylie Buzza
The key forward will come into consideration to replace Stewart if Chris Scott decides to throw Jack Henry back to defense. Buzza's ability to provide back up to Stanley in the ruck also works in his favour.

Charlie Constable
The first-year midfielder has had an outstanding year at VFL level and would thoroughly deserve an AFL debut. Collected 36 disposals two weeks ago and backed it up with 26 before the VFL team’s bye this weekend.

Jordan Murdoch
The speedster would provide some more run and dash to the side on the wide expansions of the MCG. A nice couple of weeks in the VFL before the bye has seen him put his hand up for re-selection.

Jamaine Jones
The small forward was an unlucky omission for the game against Brisbane. His defensive pressure up forward is invaluable as shown against Sydney, where he laid 11 tackles. Provides an x-factor around the goals as well.

Stewart Crameri
The veteran hasn’t played for three weeks and would be a left field option to come into the side considering how well the forwards have played the last couple of weeks. If Crameri comes in, it allows Jack Henry to push back to defence and add a little bit more class around the goals for the Cats.

Zach Guthrie
The younger brother of Cam is a chance to come in and replace Tom Stewart down back. Has played seven games this year after nine last year. The young defender is developing nicely and has a chance to cement his spot in the last month of the year before finals.
