BeKindOnline campaign launched
Geelong launched its #BeKindOnline campaign earlier this week.
During Covid-19 we are all more dependent on the internet and our devices to stay in touch. Now more than ever we need to support each other and our children to be safe online.
Championed by Cyber Cats Ambassadors, Jordi Ivey and Josh Jenkins, #BeKindOnline is part of displaying kindness in all areas of life.
With an increase in our use of devices comes an increased responsibility to try to manage not only our use, but to remind others around us about the risks involved such as cyberbullying and feelings of isolation.
Gateway Support Services
Rhys Stanley and Cooper Stephens checked in with Zac and Isaac, 17-year-old twins from Warrnambool, supported through Gateways Support Services. They chatted all things footy and even got a meet and greet with Rhys’s cows on his farm!
Parfitt, Narkle and Stokes visit Yirrkala Contarf Academy
Brandan Parfitt and Quinton Narkle along with Mat Stokes chatted to students at Yirrkala Contarf Academy where they had been designing warm up tops for the Geelong Cats to wear on an Indigenous Rd and this was an opportunity for the students to showcase the designs and gain feedback from the players!
