Selwood brothers take fifth spot
Geelong's skipper and his three brothers are together climbing up the leaderboard for the most VFL/AFL games played.
The AFL have announced that the Selwood brothers have moved up to fifth spot in VFL/AFL history for the most games played by a family of brothers.
Together the four Selwood siblings, Adam, Troy, Joel and Scott, are due to overtake the Coventry brothers with a combined tally of 534 games. Their current total means they are only 218 games away from the Daniher brothers, Terry, Neale, Tony and Chris, who sit on top with 752 games.
Recently retired Adam Selwood finished his AFL career with the Eagles on 187 games and his twin brother Troy ended with 75. The two younger brothers, Joel (160 games) and Scott (110 games), are still adding to the leaderboard at an impressive rate which could easily take them to top position.
