Ballantyne injured the jaw after clashing heads with Port youngster Jarman Impey in last Saturday's win by the Power.
Fremantle however are confident Ballantyne will take his place in the side saying that he will be tested later in the week.
"Hayden is determined to be back out playing as soon as he can," general manager of football operations Chris Bond said.
