Cats on track for record membership
The Cats have ticked over 25,000 members on their way to 50,000 in 2014
The Cats are seeking to reach 50,000 for the first time and have introduced a range of member activities aimed at maximising the member experience.
“We are pleased that so many members have already committed for the 2014 season,” Geelong’s general manager of commercial operations Steve Hocking said.
“We are projecting to go past 30,000 by the end of the year. One of the pleasing aspects so far is the fact that around 2,000 supporters have signed up as new members and 500 new season seat holders have jumped on board.
“The club has made a deliberate decision to reward members more than we have in the past. A range of new activities will be evident next year and will add to the member experience.
“Our mantra this year is #belongeelong and we are thrilled that so many supporters have embraced that theme and already committed to the club.
“There is a wide range of member packages that start at $50. Our team has shown great drive and commitment over the years and there has never been a better time to be a Geelong member.”
Members that signed up before 9 December will receive their packs before Christmas. Those that signed on after that date will receive their member kits in January.
Supporters can sign up on-line at http://membership.geelongcats.com.au/ or alternatively by calling 1300 GO CATS or in person at the membership department adjacent to the Cats Shop at Simonds Stadium.
