You would be hard pressed to find a more passionate Geelong supporter than Jody. 

We granted Jody a wish last year to be in our guard of honour and she still talks about it being the best day of her life, since then she has faced many challenges and is in wheelchair full time. Her family home has undergone modifications and the cost of medical equipment has impacted the family.

The club was saddened to hear this and reached out to Jody to invite her along for a special experience with the help of Morris Finance to our Round 7 game against Collingwood at Optus Stadium.

Wearing her beloved Cats jumper with number 14 on the back, Jody enjoyed the game with her family from a prime spot within Optus Stadium. Received a special pack full of club goodies and a signed football from the team.

Jody's favourite player is Joel Selwood who she shares the same Birthday with.

"I tell everyone he is my twin," she said.

"I love all of my Geelong boys."
