Geelong has made six changes for their Round 8 clash against Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Monday.
First-year Cat Brad Close will make his AFL debut.
The 22-year-old won a premiership with Glenelg in the SANFL last year and was taken with pick 14 in the rookie draft.
Star duo Tom Stewart and Mitch Duncan are back this week after missing recent weeks with collarbone and hamstring injuries respectively.
Charlie Constable, Lachie Fogarty and Lachie Henderson have also been named and will play their first AFL games this season.
Joel Selwood, Luke Dahlhaus, Jordan Clark and Darcy Fort make way from the side through injury, alongside Gary Ablett (personal reasons) and Jack Steven (managed).
