Geelong has selected Nick Stevens with the 47th overall selection in the NAB AFL Draft.

The Greater Western Victorian Rebels product is classy ball user and excellent decision maker who has spent most of his junior career playing in the backline but has the capacity to play other roles across the ground.

Standing at 192 centimetres tall, Stevens was an impressive performer at the Victorian draft combine with a 6.32-minute 2km time trial and ran a 2.97 second 20 metre sprint time.

Stevens was in good touch in two trial matches for the Rebels at the start of the year averaging 23 possessions (11 contested) per game.

He averaged 14.3 disposals and 3.5 defensive rebounds during the NAB League in 2019.
