A winless Blues side may pose the Cats biggest threat so far this season.

With new coach Mick Malthouse at the helm, the Blues have had narrow losses to both Richmond and Collingwood.

Cats defender Josh Hunt says the combination of two losses and a smart coach at the helm could pose problems for the Cats.

“I think that any side that is coached by Mick Malthouse is a threat. He just gets the best out of his players.” Hunt said.

“He’s one guy that won’t like being 0-2 and knowing a few of the Carlton blokes they won’t be either.

Scott Gullan who covered Sunday’s loss to Collingwood for News Ltd was equally cautious of a wounded Blues.

“They were maybe a little unlucky to lose on Sunday.” Gullan said.
