Geelong defender Jed Bews and midfielder Cooper Stephens have agreed to new contracts with the Cats.
Bews has signed for three years and Stephens has extended his contract by two years.
Bews has played 117 since debuting in 2014. He has helped the Cats to the finals five times and has established himself as a regular contributor to the Geelong defence.
Stephens was the Cats first selection in the 2019 national draft. Injuries and the covid impacted 2020 season have limited his opportunities to date.
“Both Jed and Cooper are highly valued players and we are pleased to have them locked away with new contracts,” Geelong’s general manager of football Simon Lloyd said.
“They play the game the right way, they are highly committed and diligent in their approach to being AFL footballers. We look forward to Jed and Cooper being significant contributors in the upcoming seasons.”
