GEELONG has been forced into making a late change ahead of its Round 19 clash with Richmond on Sunday afternoon with Shaun Higgins out with knee soreness.
Higgins has been replaced with Brad Close who returns to Geelong's 22-man lineup.
Speedster Jordan Clark has been added to the emergencies.
The late change will see Higgins forced to wait at least another week to play his 250th AFL game.
The Round 19 clash will commence at 3.20pm and be televised on Fox Footy.
Geelong's medical substitute will be named an hour prior to the first bounce.
