Nathan Kreuger is headed to Collingwood.

GEELONG has strengthened its draft hand after completing its first trade of the 2021 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period.

Geelong traded Kreuger and selection 55 to Collingwood in return for selection 41.

Kreuger spent three seasons at GMHBA Stadium, making his AFL debut in round 20 this year. A key position player, Kreuger spent the majority of his time in the backline for the Cats.

“Nathan has made a fantastic contribution to our club, and we’ve enjoyed having him as part of our program,” Geelong’s list and recruiting manager Stephen Wells said.

“We wish him well as he continues his football at Collingwood.”

Geelong now has four selections inside the first 41 selections in November's national draft.
