Cats TV caught up with, Tom Lonergan and journalist Scott Gullan for Argue the Toss, to discuss if Taylor Hunt will be a big loss for the Cats, considering his current form.

Hunt fractured his clavicle during the first quarter against Essendon last Friday night.

Both Lonergan and Gullan say Hunt’s performance this year has been formidable and his versatility will be a huge loss to the team.

“I think Taylor has had a breakout year, not only is he doing his job defensively on the oppositions best mid, he’s working hard offensively too and getting the ball himself and kicking a couple of goals,” Lonergan said.

Despite the Cats loss, Gullan believes George Horlin-Smith has the potential to carry out Hunt's role in the midfield.

“I think someone like a George Horlin-Smith might be given that responsibility and it’s a good learning tool for him, but it’s a big loss," Gullan said.
