SHANNON Neale will replace Esava Ratugolea as an emergency for Geelong's Round 8 clash with Greater Western Sydney on Saturday at Manuka Oval.
Ratugolea has been ruled out through injury, paving the way for Neale to join Mitch Knevitt, Oliver Dempsey and Zach Guthrie as the emergencies this week.
The news follows yesterday's exciting announcement that Cooper Stephens would be playing his first AFL game.
Sitting 4-3 after last week's narrow three-point loss to Fremantle, the Cats will be eager to return to winning ways in Saturday's 4.35pm clash in Canberra.
Geelong will name its medical substitute an hour prior to the first bounce.
