Kelly on the big improvers
The main players for me would be Mitch Knevitt and Connor O'Sullivan, those guys have had really good pre-seasons.
They are big, athletic players that are always valuable in the AFL.
Guys like Sam De Koning, Jack Henry who were interrupted last year, those guys have had really good pre-seasons. They are not on the fringe at all, but you get a really good spike from those sort of players.
It is not often that you have someone who comes into your team and changes your whole team, so we look for the improvement in everyone in that sense.
Kelly on the midfield mix
We have talked about Dangerfield and Stewart spending time in there, along with Smith, Holmes, Bowesy and Bruhn.
They have had really good pre-seasons, Jhye Clark has bobbed his head up alongside Mitch Knevitt. Ollie Dempsey had a really good year last year, Tom Atkins as well. There are a lot of guys in there who are really good, really competent players.
The challenge for us and the luxury for us I guess as coaches is to deploy those guys, get the right mix and the right balance.
We will keep working with that throughout the whole year, I dare say some games it will look really good and some it might not look as good.
With the group that we have got, we have a lot of depth and flexibility which helps us.
Kelly on where the Cats are placed
Hopefully two wins better than last year would be nice, but it is too hard to predict.
We feel like we are in a good spot, we have had a good pre-season but everyone is going well.
We will keep sharpening our sword in the next couple of weeks, hopefully play well in Opening Round.
Kelly on Jack Martin
He got through the VFL practice match fine.
He is training again today, he has been on a bit of a slow build program.
I am not 100% across his program but he is making good progress, getting stronger and will play more again this week.
