Any football fan would agree that there is nothing that gets the adrenaline pumping quite like a close finish, particularly results that are decided after the final siren.
Geelong supporters have had their fair share of tense moments in big games, but fortunately the Cats have been on the right side of the result more often than not.
In the build up to Friday night's clash with Melbourne at GMHBA Stadium, the mind flashes back to another match against the Demons from 2018, when a certain Irishman landed the decisive blow after the final siren.
Take a look back at every Geelong game-winning goal after the siren over the last 100 years.

But champion Cat, Tom Hawkins was not prepared to go down without a fight as he kicked four goals in the last quarter, taking his tally to seven for the night to help Geelong pull within a kick in the dying moments.
With the final siren approaching and the Cats still four points adrift, one final foray forward landed in the hands of Zach Tuohy, who took a strong contested grab with seven seconds remaining, 35 metres out from goal.
Nearly the whole Melbourne team manned the mark, GMHBA Stadium held its collective breath, Tuohy with all the class and poise in the world went back and made no mistake, securing a famous victory for Geelong.
Gary Rohan - Round 14, 2021 Season
Final Score: Geelong 12.11 (83) def Western Bulldogs 11.12 (78)
Another tense contest at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong and the Western Bulldogs could not be separated all night when they squared off in round 14 of the 2021 season.
The biggest lead of the match was 11 points for either team, the Cats unable to kick clear despite big performances from Tom Stewart and Joel Selwood.
The lead changed hands numerous times in the final term, but things looked bleak for Geelong when Toby Mclean put the Bulldogs back in front with just under four minutes remaining.
With time ticking down the Cats got one last look through Gary Rohan who took a strong mark, before curling home a beautiful set-shot from long range after the siren to snatch victory for Geelong.
Tom Hawkins - Round 19, 2012 Season
Final Score: Geelong 18.10 (118) def Hawthorn 17.14 (116)
One of the most iconic home and away matches in history played out between two old rivals, when Geelong squared off with Hawthorn at the MCG late in 2012.
The Cats got off to a scintillating start booting nine goals in the first quarter, extending the lead to as much as 51 points early in the second term before the Hawks started to cut into the deficit.
A run of four unanswered goals in the last quarter eventually put Hawthorn back in front, Tom Hawkins snapping home his fifth major of the night with three minutes remaining to keep the Cats within a kick.
It was Hawkins once again who finished with the game on his boot, taking a mark on the paint of 50 and launching himself into Geelong folklore with a pure set-shot finish to take down the Hawks.
Peter Riccardi - Round 11, 2002 Season
Final Score: Geelong 15.10 (100) def Carlton 14.12 (96)
Die hard Geelong fans will remember this day, when Peter Riccardi defied a barnstorming Carlton comeback under the roof at Marvel Stadium.
The Cats had dominated proceedings up until three quarter time, storming to a 37 point lead on the back of strong displays from Riccardi and Cameron Ling.
But there was a twist in the tale, the Blues piled on seven unanswered goals in the final term to snatch the lead back with just 26 seconds on the clock.
Facing a heartbreaking defeat, Geelong won the ball out of the last centre stoppage and found Riccardi near the 50 metre arc, with the champion Cat wobbling home a long range set-shot to win the game for Geelong.

Following a memorable finish in Geelong's 1994 Qualifying Final, Gary Ablett Senior made sure he went one better a fortnight later in a tense Preliminary Final against North Melbourne.
The Cats had been held goalless in the final term, as the Kangaroos chased down an 18-point three quarter time deficit and scores were level late in the match.
It seemed like Geelong's last chance had gone to waste, when the final entry inside 50 burst through John Barnes' hands, but Leigh Tudor was there to clean up and hooked a quick kick to the top of the goal square.
Gary Ablett Senior clunked the mark and the AFL's version of the 'Hand of God' was created, Ablett going back and sending the Cats to the 1994 Grand Final.

David Mensch plucked a nice mark just outside 50, finding a leading Brownless 35 metres out from goal right before the final siren sounded.
Brownless went back and made no mistake, sending the Cats through to a Prelim and inspiring the great Sandy Roberts to roll out that famous line.
