The players donned their best (or worst) old school outfits on Sunday and hit the rolling greens of the Geelong Golf Club on for the inaugural Cats’ Christmas Golf Day.
There are some notable sharpshooters amongst the playing group and – in the name of fairness – the boys divided themselves into teams with varying degrees of success.
At the conclusion of 18 holes, the shield and 12 months’ worth of bragging rights went to ‘the Buzzinators’; draftees Wylie Buzza and Matthew Hayball proved themselves handy enough with club in hand, whilst wylie veterans Corey Enright and Harry Taylor joined Irishman Padraig Lucey to provide the necessary leadership.
