Geelong ruckman Rhys Stanley has had his match day report thrown out by the match review panel.

Stanley was reported for rough conduct in the second quarter after a heavy bump on Eagle Brad Sheppard in a marking contest.

Replays of the incident showed Stanley only made contact with the shoulder of Sheppard and not his head.

Stanley will now be available to take on the Crows at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.

In 2016, Stanley is averaging 10 disposals, 17 hitouts, three marks and two tackles a game whilst also booting five goals.
