Geelong’s first official pre-season hit out of 2025 is only seven days away, with the Cats to face Hawthorn in a match simulation on Monday 17 February at GMHBA Stadium.
The match is FREE entry for all fans with Gate 13 opening at 1.30pm, prior to the opening bounce at 2.00pm. All patrons will be seated in the Brownlow Stand, with select food and coffee outlets open for the duration of the match.
Geelong will wear and debut its new 2025 clash guernsey for the first time, which is now available to pre-order via The Cats Shop.
The match will be played over five 30-minute periods, with the main break to occur after the second period.*
Watching from home? The match will be broadcast live on Kayo. Cats fans can sign up to a Digital Plus Membership to watch the match simulation, along with every game of every round of the AFL season live and ad-break free.

Following the match simulation, the Cats will continue their preparation for the 2025 season in the AAMI Community Series against Essendon on Tuesday 25 February, 7.10pm AEDT.
Cats members and kids under 14 get free general admission, while AFL, Geelong, and Essendon members can access free general admission by scanning their membership on the day (subject to capacity).
General admission adult tickets will be available for $20, subject to capacity.
